T-Shirt Printing Options

In addition to providing excellent quality T-shirts, we offer a variety of printing options which in the past were used mostly by the fashion industry. By simply using a different texture you’ll be amazed at how your logo or design will look and feel of the T- shirt once it’s printed. It’s the way forward. If you want your logo to make a tasteful statement these print techniques are going to add a whole new dimension to branded T-shirts, especially for the Corporate market.

PUFF PRINT

Puff ink, as the name implies, raises or “puffs up” as the ink is dried. This adds a 3-dimensional look and if done correctly can be used as a cost-effective alternative to embroidery. The most suitable designs for puff print that will produce the best results are those with “light” fonts and thin lines.

SHIMMER & METALLIC PRINT

Shimmers combine the best features of glitter and metallic. The shimmer creates similar finishes to that of metallic, but with a greater sparkle and allows for usage of a far more extensive colour range.

FLUORESCENT NEON INK PRINT

There is nothing shy about using fluorescent colours and is a guaranteed attention-grabber. These colours work best with retro designs, hot rod as well as children’s prints, but can be used whenever the idea is to get noticed.

DISCHARGE PRINT

When there is only one colour in your logo or print design you cannot do better than use the discharge printing method for optimal clarity and definition of the colour and design. The discharge method provides a softer textured one-colour logo on any colour t-shirt. The printing process works best on good quality, 100% cotton, dyed t-shirts.

HIGH DENSITY PRINT

To obtain a raised and glossy smooth print, a high density print is the way to go. The process involves printing with a specially formulated ink through a thick stencil and use up to 10 colours in the printing process. If you are looking to have a t-shirt print that is bright and glossy and the colours appear very distinctly. This print option is most often used in fashion items with snazzy designs.

SIMULATED HALF TONE PRINT

If you want to create the most realistic replica of a photograph onto a t-shirt then this is the way to go. The simulated half tone print is ability to reproduce photographic images onto t-shirts using up to 10 colours with the highest definition possible – particularly on dark shirts and where there is significant detail in the actual image.

SIMULATED PROCESS COLOUR PRINT

For the most photo-realistic result on white t-shirts this is the ideal choice of print. By using inks that are generally all-purpose and semi-transparent clear inks (plastisol), the colours remain bright and showing the defined detail of the photographic image.

INDEX COLOUR PRINT

To create a precise colour definition for an image on a shirt, index colour is definitely the best and only option. Although this may appear to be the most complicated of all the printing methods, the result is worth it. Using up to 10 colours in the print process, you are able to select the colours manually and produced a design with the highest colour definition.
